Canturbury City Council Bus Hire Subsidy Scheme
Together with Canterbury City Council, Inner West Community Transport has limited funds available to assist local disadvantaged community groups from the Canterbury region with subsidised bus hire through the Smartlink Transport Register.
The subsidy is available, upon request for financially disadvantaged and transport disadvantaged community groups based in, or predominantly providing service to, residents of the Canterbury local government area. Both full and partial subsidies are available. Partial subsidy will be considered where organisations can cover part of the hire cost.
The subsidy available is applicable to bus hire through the Smartlink Transport Register only. Private bus hire arranged outside of the Smartlink Transport Register will not be subsidised.
